The workshop will be an opportunity for participants to experience and understand the personal and clinical applications of mindfulness and four heart qualities (loving kindness, compassion, appreciative joy and equanimity). It will involve brief presentations on ancient Buddhist and contemporary mindful-compassion theories, interactive discussion, experiential exercises, guidance in meditation and periods of meditative silence.
