Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) on the Gold Coast

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported, 5 day intensive or 8-week (8 sessions as well as a half day silent retreat), training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion.  MSC has been developed from the ground-breaking research of Kristen Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer. The three key components of mindful self-compassion are self-kindness, a sense of common humanity, and balanced, mindful awareness. Research demonstrates that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional wellbeing, less anxiety depression and stress as well as the maintenance of healthy habits.

Malcolm will co-teach  a  5 day MSC workshop  with fellow MSC teacher and clinical psychologist Marie Bloomfield over 22nd-26th of July 2017.  At Kirra Hill Beach Community Centre, 1 Garrick St, Coolangatta, QLD, 4225
